COMPANY
Laboratories INVES BIOFARM has its own R&D department located in the Granada Health Technology Park, as well as a manufacturing facility for class II and class III medical devices, topical and injectable products, and cosmetics.
Inves Biofarm has made investments in equipment and facilities to expand the range of services and provide a better response to its customers’ needs. Existing semi-automatic processes have been automated, and machinery versatility has been enhanced to process products demanded by the market. This expansion was supported by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the ERDF Operational Programme for Andalusia 2014-2020, which allocates funds to encourage the remodeling and improvement of companies engaged in R&D activities.
All these resources are state-of-the-art and comply with GMP and ISO certifications (ISO 22716 and ISO 13485).
MISSION
In collaboration with the Granada Health Technology Park and the University of Granada, Inves Biofarm offers this platform of R&D to companies, research groups, and especially patient associations to collaborate and provide new therapeutic solutions for physicians and patients, improving the quality of life for those with rare diseases.
Their social responsibility, to which they allocate a significant percentage of their profits, involves collaborating in the development of orphan drugs related to their expertise in dermatology and various biotechnological growth factors.
